Sush-Sushi (v0.0.3)
About:
As an apprentice sushi chef in a town riddled with gangs, mob-bosses and double crossing law enforcement, you work for the yakuza to decide who lives or dies after eating your live-prepared sushi. But you need to figure out if you are preparing a rockin roll for a tourist, or a murdering maki for a target.
Current How to play:
- Start game and follow the tutorial!

Current Game status:
[06/29/2025] Still plugging away, been hard to work on the game in the last month or so more than I wanted but made some progress. Now there is a basic tutorial system to get you started, some day loop cycle and more. There are target systems setup but not in 0.0.3 demo. Made loads of back end up dates as well. Updated some character art systems to be pixel art. Happy with progress, just wanted it to be more thus far. Probably will focus on an air pass next + maybe a few rolls for game testing.
[02/16/2025] Been working on the game since the Jam! Overall about like 160ish+ hours logged into this project since the jam putting in hours in weekends, holidays and weeknights. Pretty happy with the progress. Literally no instruction really and just focusing on interactions with making the sushi and game loop systems for right now.
[7/15/2024] Currently is very much not playable but sub core systems are working (just not tied together). I wanted to just document my current status of the game for the PS Game Jam 15 and commit to submitting. Still working on this project and hope to upload a new progress build in another 2 weeks.
